Leyton Orient's striker Daniel Agyei and winger Daniel Adu Adjei played pivotal roles in their team's impressive 3-1 victory over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday afternoon.

The pair, both English-born but of Ghanaian descent, contributed significantly to Leyton Orient's commanding lead in the head-to-head record against Shrewsbury Town, which now stands at 5 wins for Leyton Orient and no wins or draws for Shrewsbury Town.

Agyei, who was on the pitch for 72 minutes, and Adjei, who played the full 90 minutes, showcased their skills and teamwork at Croud Meadow. Despite Shrewsbury Town dominating possession and taking more shots, it was Leyton Orient who made their chances count.

The opening goal came in the 8th minute when Adu-Adjei scored with a right-footed shot from close range, assisted by Agyei. Ethan Galbraith extended Leyton Orient's lead in the 24th minute with a right-footed shot from outside the box, assisted by Tom James.

Agyei got his name on the scoresheet in the 51st minute with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box, assisted by Galbraith following a fast break. Shrewsbury Town managed to pull one back in the 76th minute through Daniel Udoh's header, assisted by Elliott Bennett with a cross.

This season, Agyei has played 17 games in the League One, scoring five goals and providing three assists. Adu Adjei, on the other hand, has played ten games and scored once.
