Black Queens will make the nation proud at WAFCON 2024 – Princella Adubea assures Ghanaians

Black Queens forward Priscilla Adubea has assured Ghanaians that the team will make the nation proud at the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations tournament.

The Ghana Women’s national team has sealed qualification to the WAFCON tournament after edging out Namibia 3-2 on aggregate.

The team returns to the continental showpiece after missing out in 2022.

Adubea, who plies her trade in Israel was not involved in the game against Namibia due to an injury setback but she supported her teammates as edged out Namibia to book a place at tournament in Morocco next year.

"The ticket to the Women's Afcon in Morocco 2024 was won today. Congratulations to myself and the team, Ghana Women's national team. For this great journey. We shall make the nation proud," she posted on social media.

Despite missing the Namibia clash, the Israeli-based forward played pivotal to help the Black Queens secure qualification and will hope to make the squad for the tournament next year.
