Ghana U-20 head coach Karim Zito has lamented over the absence of Precious Boah ahead of his team’s meeting with Cote D’Ivoire.

Nicknamed the Black Satellites, the team will lock horns with their Ivorian counterpart this weekend in what will be a final Group B game of the 2020 WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations tournament.

After receiving a red card in Ghana’s 1-0 win against Nigeria on Wednesday, Precious Boah has been ruled out of the Cote D’Ivoire game as he serves a suspension.

Speaking on the absence of the player, Coach Karim Zito says he hopes the youngster can return to action in the final if the team reaches that stage.

“Yes, Boah is my everything in the team, he showed that today by scoring the only goal of the match. But he is out after the red card and there is nothing, we can do so I have started planning for the next game without him.

“Maybe he will return if we make it to the final since its two yellow cards,” the experienced coach said in an interview as quoted on the website of the GFA.
