Black Starlets whip Serbia 4-0 in 2023 UEFA U-16 Development Tournament

The Black Starlets started the 2023 UEFA U-16 Development Tournament on Thursday with a commanding 4-0 victory against the host country.

The West African nation was handed a penalty kick, which Benjamin Tsivanyo converted, putting heavy pressure on the Serbians to capitulate in the opening minutes.

Tsivanyo started things off by beautifully converting the penalty kick to give the Black Starlets the lead in the third minute. The team continued to possess the ball and create chances in their opponents half.

Ten minutes later, Debrah Bossman assisted the Great Corinthians center-forward in scoring his second goal of the day, giving Ghana a two-goal advantage.

The Black Starlets' dominant performance continued with the third goal. Ramsey Asumadu produced a superb ball to Benjamin Tsivanyo to complete his hat-trick.

Yiriyon Yaw Gideon recorded his name on the scoring sheet with a magnificent free-kick from distance on the stroke of halftime, completing Ghana's outstanding performance.

The Black Starlets of Ghana will take on Spain on Saturday 15th April.
