A former Ghana Football Association [GFA] chairman, Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe believes the Black Stars will fail to impress with this current players should we qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

The quality of the Black Stars team has been questioned after being held by Ethiopia in the matchday 5 games.

Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw game against the Walias at the Orlando Stadium on Thursday.

The Black Stars now have no option but to beat South Africa game to make it to the playoffs.

But according to Dr Tamakloe, the team performed abysmally against Ethiopia and will fail to impress should they beat South Africa.

He stressed that the team will not make an impact should they qualify for the global showpiece in Qatar next year.

“I am worried because our performance has not been the best in the qualifiers and if we don’t take care, we will continue to struggle,” he said on Accra based Asempa FM.

“We are trying to put together a team but the results has been abysmal which must be a concern.

“We were poor against Ethiopia and even if we qualify, we will fail to impress at the World Cup because we don’t have a team” he added.

Black Stars final group game against the Bafana Bafana has been scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT.
