Black Stars coach Chris Hughton supports training of Ghanaian coaches

The head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton has expressed his support for any training that will help build the capacity of coaches in the Ghana Premier League.

According to him, it is important that coaches of clubs in the various local leagues receive training to get better.

Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, Coach Chris Hughton said he has been impressed with the level of coaches in the local leagues.

“It’s important that we have coaches of good level here and the only way that can happen is when a programme is put forward by the Ghana Football Association,” the Black Stars coach argued.

Chris Hughton continued, “That brings the best of our coaches here because ultimately it leads to one thing and the one thing is to have the best coaches here to produce the best players and to have the best teams possible.”

In his assessment of local players, Coach Chris Hughton has indicated that he has identified some quality players.

He is sure that in the future, more players from the Ghana Premier League will have the chance to play in the national team.
