Chris Hughton took over as Black Stars coach in February 2023. He signed a 21-month contract with the four times AFCON champions.
The former Premier League manager recently called up two domestic-based players in Ghana's games against Central African Republic and Liberia. Medeama duo Jonathan Sowah and Hamidu Fatawu received the call up.
Hafiz Konkoni who now plays for Yanga has also previously received a call up.
Bofoakwa Tano drew goalless with Accra Great Olympics on match day one at the Accra Sports Stadium. Real Tamale United beat Accra Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
