Black Stars duo Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew to arrive in Ghana tonight ahead of Angola clash

The Black Stars will begin training tomorrow as part of preparations for the upcoming clash against Angola in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Later tonight, Black Stars duo Thomas Partey and Jordan Ayew will be arriving in the country ahead of the AFCON qualifiers.

Not just the two players, but several other invited players who are not yet in the country will be traveling to Ghana.

On Tuesday, new Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton is expected to have a full house in the camp when he oversees his first official training session.

The 25-man squad will train at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

There will be another training session on Wednesday before Ghana hosts Angola on Thursday, March 23.

The game will kick off at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Ghana will aim to secure a win to open a three points gap at the top of the Group E standings of the qualifiers for the 2023 AFCON tournament.
