Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot has reunited with his former trainer Lee Johnson at Scottish top-flight Hibernian.

Wollacot worked under the English manager during his time with Bristol City before they went separate ways.

The Ghana international goalkeeper completed his move to the club on Friday from English Ligue 1 side Charlton Athletic.

Wollacot joins for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal and is expected to play a huge role for the side.

“We are delighted to complete the permanent signing of Ghanaian international Jojo Wollacott!”

“The goalkeeper joins Hibs from Charlton Athletic for undisclosed terms and has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal” the club wrote on tweeter.

Wollacott is expected to provide competition for captain David Marshall ahead of the new season.

The Shot stopper has seen a massive rise in his career since breaking into the Black Stars team. Before making his debut for the national team, Wollacot was plying his trade in the English League 2.

Following an impressive performance, the goalkeeper secured a move to the Ligue 1, joining Charlton Athletic last summer, where he played 20 games.

He will now compete in the Scottish top-flight after completing a move to Hibernian.
