VIDEO: Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori joins campaign on Covid-19 preventive measures

Goalkeeper for the Black Stars, Richard Ofori has joined in on the campaign on the preventive measures against Coronavirus and has urged all Ghanaians to stay safe.

Named Covid-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO), the virus has so far infected over 200,000 people and has killed more than 10,00.

In a video, Ghana and Maritzburg United goalkeeper Richard Ofori has urged all to observe strict hygienic practices and avoid handshakes if possible.

“My mothers, my fathers, my brothers, and everyone, the Coronavirus has killed a lot of people so I plead with you all to take it seriously”, the former Wa All Stars shot-stopper said.

He added, “Let desist from handshakes and ensure we use hand sanitizer or wash our hands with soap under running water”.

As of Friday, March 20, 2020, the Coronavirus has infected 16 people in Ghana with 8 of them said to have recovered.

The entire populace is being charged to stay safe and protect oneself at all times.
