Ghanaian international Thomas Partey is set to spend the 2019/2020 season with Atletico Madrid following the club’s decision to select him as one of a few players to model in the team’s away jersey.
The midfield enforcer has been at the center of wild transfer speculation that has linked him with a move away from the Spanish capital to Manchester United, Inter Milan, as Arsenal.
Meanwhile, after modeling in Atletico’s new away kit, it is believed that he will stay with the side for the upcoming season.
He was selected as one of three players to model in their new jersey alongside former Real Madrid and Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata and their feminine star Silvia Meseguer.
The all-black jersey is complemented by flashes of red trim and has a Spanish flag on the inside near the collar.
Thomas parted had a good season in the last campaign where he managed to make 39 appearances in all competitions for the Rojiblanco whiles registering 4 assists and scoring 4 goals.
He is expected to have an even better campaign next season following the departure of Rodri from the club to English Premier League champions Manchester City.
