Black Stars to outdoor new jersey against Rwanda

The Black Stars of Ghana will outdoor their newly designed jersey against the Amavubi’s of Rwanda in their final Afcon qualifier on Saturday, September 3.

The new kit designed by Puma, is expected to be used for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Gabon but the team will outdoor it in front of the home fans at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday.

PUMA's Sports marketing manager for national teams Simon Holthaus told football Ghana the inspiration behind this new design. “A national team jersey should always represent the entire country, it's heritage and pride.” “Our new Puma Ghana jersey is a masterpiece in design and something the country and puma can be proud of. It is another statement of the creativity, uniqueness and deep connection to Africa and especially Ghana of our brand.” Simon Holthaus also confirmed the team will don the new jersey against Rwanda to give Ghanaians a fair idea of the kit. Ghana has already qualified for the 2017 Afcon making their final game against Rwanda a dead rubber match.
