Former Black Stars striker Prince Tagoe believes that a two striker formation will help Ghana score more goals as compared to the one striker formation.
The Black Stars were famous for the use of the 4-4-2 formation but in 2010, they switch to a one striker formation with Asamoah Gyan leading the line.
The formation has still be used a number of times and Tagoe believes that a switch to the former one will help the Black Stars score more goals.
“Anytime Ghana was scoring a lot of goals, it was with the 4-4-2 formation and obviously the formation required two strikers. Asamoah was doing very well and we had to be conscious about our midfield so we started with one striker but I feel that if we use two strikers, we will do better now,” he told Joy FM.
Tagoe scored seven goals in 38 matches for the Black Stars.
