Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has made a strong case for why Andre Ayew should not be pushed out of the Black Stars now.

In his view, the former Swansea City star remains the leader of the Black Stars and his service is still needed.

Speaking to Radio 360 Power Sports, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu also noted that even if Andre Ayew will not be playing regularly, his off-the-field contribution to the national team cannot be overlooked.

He insists that Ayew remains key to the Black Stars.

“We will still need Dede Ayew in the Black Stars, he's still the leader of the team. Not necessarily on the pitch but for other unforeseen circumstances

“I was called to the black stars when was injured for two weeks but Avram Grant gave me the opportunity to be part of the team due to my experience,” Emmanuel Agyemang Badu argued.

In the last few assignments of the Black Stars, many Ghanaians have indicated that it is about time Andre Ayew’s time with the national team comes to an end.

However, there are others who believe the 33-year-old has more to give the national team.
