Black Stars technical advisor Chris Hughton has set sights on working with the new players who recently switched their international allegiance to Ghana.

Coach Otto Addo named Tariq Lamptey (Brighton), Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Stephan Ambrosius (Karlsruher), Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer and Mohammed Salisu in his 29-man squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

"One thing I can tell you in my short period of time here is that the new recruits that we have, have showed great enthusiasm so far," Hughton told TV3.

"There hasn’t been a game yet [for them] to be involved in. But the talks that initially the association had with them, they showed great enthusiasm.

He added, "I’m absolutely positive that for the new recruits coming into the squad, we would have no difficulty getting the right balances."
