Ghana and Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan says he and his team mates will miss former mate Kevin-Prince Boateng who joined Fiorentina.
Boateng was loaned to Barcelona in the 2018-19 season and returned to Sassuolo after the deal but decided to go for a new challenge despite his presence with the team during preseason.
Alfred Duncan told sky sports, Boateng brought a lot of experience into the team and his absence will be missed.
"They are two important players. Boateng brought his charisma here, he made us grow a lot in the first six months he was among the full-backs with more assists than last season, we lose two strong elements but we welcomed a new strong player like Toljan, and we hope he can replace Lirola ".
The details of Boateng's contract with Fiorentina is yet to be made public.
