In a blow to VfL Bochum's lineup, winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei is set to miss the crucial clash against SV Darmstadt 98 due to a nagging muscular injury.
Coach Thomas Letsch confirmed the 29-year-old's absence, leaving Bochum without one of their key assets for the Friday evening encounter.
Christopher Antwi-Adjei has made eight appearances in the Bundesliga this season.
On the significance of the game against Darmstadt, the coach said he wanted a victory.
"Everything is close together in the bottom half of the table. But I don't look at the table much. We have to make sure we get three points and win as quickly as possible. If we then climb up the table, that is a positive by-product. We won't achieve our goals with just a draw,"
"We basically focus more on ourselves. We want to find solutions with and against the ball. We have to create more scoring chances ourselves and allow even fewer chances on the other side," he added.
