The playoff for Zone One of this season's Access Bank National Division One League has been played today.
In a contest between Techiman Eleven Wonders and Bofoakwa Tano, both teams put up a top performance in the 90 minutes.
Bofoakwa Tano today had a bright start to the match and took the lead after just seven minutes when the team was given a penalty kick.
Leslie Aryeetey accepted the responsibility from 12 yards and equalised to give his team the lead.
A minute into the second half, Techiman Eleven Wonders restored parity through an equaliser from Osman Zackaria.
After 90 minutes and extra time, there was no winner, forcing the game to be decided by penalty kicks.
At the end of the exciting shootout, Bofoakwa Tano secured a 7-6 victory to earn promotion to play in next season’s Ghana Premier League.
