Bofoakwa Tano legend Dan Owusu has expressed his readiness to serve as the technical director of the club.
The Sunyani-based club secured their promotion in a thrilling playoff match against Techiman Eleven Wonders, held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw after regulation time, leading to a tense penalty shootout. Bofoakwa ultimately emerged victorious, triumphing 7-6 in the shootout and securing their well-deserved place in the prestigious Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Dan Owusu, who is a legend of Bofoakwa Tano expressed delight following the club’s qualification whiles reiterating desire to serve as the technical director of the club.
“I have been into the game for a very longtime both as a player and coach. At the moment, I’m the technical director of a Division Two club in Accra so when I am invited to serve in that capacity at Bofoakwa Tano, I am ready”
“We’ve got experience in the game, so when they invite some of us, we are ready to help the team to attain greater height” he said.
Bofoakwa Tano join Heart of Lions and Nations FC for next season’s Ghana Premier League campaign.
