In a surprising turn of events on Saturday afternoon, Bofoakwa Tano pulled off a remarkable performance, outshining Hearts of Oak in the first half of their match week three clash. 

Hearts of Oak's assistant coach acknowledged the superior display from the opposition, highlighting a formidable challenge that the team now faces in their pursuit of success.

Bofoakwa Tano inflicted a 1-0 win against the Phobians at the Coronation Park in Sunyani. Captain Saaka Dauda scored in the 47th minute for Bofoakwa Tano.

"To be frank with you we played so bad in the first half that wasn't the plan the scoreline was fair scoreline because they were ahead of us in the first half," he told Happy FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"In the second half we don't know what happened we came in the first two minutes they had their goal and later part of the game we came in the game but it was too late," he added.

Accra Hearts of Oak will play Dreams FC in their next league game.
