“Our aim to today was to pick ourselves up if we got knocked down. We’re a serious, mature and confident group, and we really want to win games for the gaffer. We can work well recently with virtually all of the lads fully fit and the results reflect that. We’ve played well in our last few games, with a lot of courage and personality. After the game, the boss gave his compliments to the boys and he was really happy because it was a big moment for him. He was really happy because Bologna showed their passion today and the lads took their responsibilities very seriously. He also reiterated that if anybody had believed that this wasn’t possible, then they were mistaken.”
