Boost for German side SC Paderborn as Ghanaian winger Kelvin Ofori starts training

German Bundesliga 2 side, SC Paderborn have been handed a major squad boost as the club pushes for promotion this season.

This is because talented Ghanaian winger Kelvin Ofori has started training this week after his long injury layoff.

The young forward in the last two months has not featured in any capacity due to an injury he suffered in pre-season.

He was ruled out of action for five weeks, news that reduced the quality of the SC Paderborn team.

After spending weeks on the sidelines, Kelvin Ofori has started training this weekend and could soon play his first match of the German Bundesliga 2 season.

Already, his SC Paderborn side has started the new campaign on a bright note. Last weekend, the team thrashed Holstein Kiel 7-2 to climb to the summit of the German Bundesliga 2 standings.

While he will not be rushed for the upcoming game against FC Magdeburg, he could be named in the matchday squad of his team or the match that will follow.
