German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund have finally reached a resolution on the future of winger Ansgar Knauff.
The German-born Ghanaian forward was sent out on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt at the beginning of last season on a two-year deal.
Last season, the attacker excelled for his club and helped the team to win the Uefa Europa League.
Having established himself as one of the key players for Eintracht Frankfurt, the club is now interested in signing him on a permanent deal.
The only difficulty is that there is no buy-off option in the loan agreement with Borussia Dortmund.
To make matters worse, Dortmund are also keen on keeping the player after monitoring his fantastic displays for Frankfurt last season.
With the loan deal of Knauff set to expire at the end of this season, Borussia Dortmund have considered their options and taken a firm decision.
The club has opted to bring the forward to the club at the end of the season to make him an important part of the squad for next season.
Additionally, the club will be willing to listen to an offer from Frankfurt in case the club will be willing to pay good money for the attacker.
