Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he doesn't intend to leave the Bundesliga club, amid rumours linking him with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Gabonese international admitted in February that he intended to carry out a promise he made to his grandfather that he would one day play for Los Blancos.

But, speaking toCNN, Aubameyang claimed that he is happy to remain at Dortmund and doesn't plan on leaving in the near future.

"I'm really happy to be here now," he said. "It's already been three years since I came here and of course I'm enjoying every moment because we have great fans.

"It's a great atmosphere when you play inside this stadium," he added, referring to Dortmund's Westfalenstadion. "And last year we did very well, we had a very good season. I really am happy to be here and I hope to stay more time for sure."

On the subject of the notoriously raucousatmosphere at the club's stadium, he said: "It'scrazy. It's amazing, you know, you just look up and you say, 'wow, that's amazing.'

"It's 25,000 people only on one side, so of course you enjoy it. Every time when you go on the pitch it's just crazy.

"They know when we need some energy; they have a button so it's perfect. But you feel it, you feel it of course."

With Dortmund currently sitting in 6th place in the Bundesliga standings, eight points off league leaders Bayern Munich, Aubameyang made a comparison to the French Ligue 1 where he had previously plied his trade.

"In France, sometimes, you have some players or coaches say, 'If we go there and we come back with one point, it's okay'.

"Here? No chance of this! Everybody wants to win. I think every team is playing to win matches, so the game is hard and fast, intensive. I really like the Bundesliga for that."
