Bournemouth attacker Junior Stanislas fit for preseason

Bournemouth attacker Junior Stanislas expects to be fit for preseason as he goes under knife.

Stanislas will have surgery to cure a persistent hernia problem.

The Daily Echo says the 27-year-old winger did not attend the club's annual presentation night at the BIC on Monday and was instead operated on by one of Europe's leading specialists.

Stanislas was ruled out at the start of the season after feeling discomfort in his groin and made his first appearance in the EFL Cup clash at Morecambe at the end of August.
