Bournemouth boss Howe appeases hungry Fraser

Ryan Fraser has revealed that he pleaded with Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe to let him play in the Central League.

Fraser made an appearance for the Scotland national team during their friendly encounter against the Netherlands last week and following such a high profile encounter, the winger revealed that he pleaded with Howe to allow him to play in the Central League against Plymouth on Wednesday night.

"I asked the gaffer after the Scotland game if I was allowed to play because I hadn't played for so long," said Fraser.

"Straight away, he said no so I came in on Monday and did a bit of training before doing the full session yesterday. The gaffer then phoned me after training and told me I was playing, my legs were in bits!"
