Bournemouth boss Howe: I knew Fraser would come good; training complex will be huge

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is delighted with the current form of Ryan Fraser.

Howe feels the Scotland winger is back to his best.

He told the Daily Echo: “I have always had faith in Ryan. I always believed he could be whatever he wanted to be.

“The talent he possesses at a young age is rare and hard to find.

“In the past few games he has got back to the levels he was at last season. He has been really good and I am hoping for more of the same from him.

“Every player needs to have total faith in their ability, know they can perform at the level, and know they are fit enough.

“Everything that goes into it, to make a performance, is down to the mind.

“Ryan definitely fits into that category and it is great to see him returning to his best."

Meanwhile, Howe has welcomed the club's new training complex plans.

The project for a multi-million pound complex at the 57-acre Canford Magna Golf Club have been approved by Poole council's planning committee, subject to referral to the Secretary of State.

Howe said: “I think it is huge for us as a football club.

“It is what we desperately need, I feel, to make sure we leave a legacy from our time in the Premier League. We want that to last forever.

“Football is such an unpredictable game but the things that don't change behind the scenes are the infrastructure and the platform you lay for future generations.

“Making sure all our youth and academy teams and everybody who is training with Bournemouth is at the same base in good facilities, is absolutely key to the future of the club.

“Hopefully we are through the main hurdles. We still have a couple to go through but I think it is fantastic news for everyone connected with Bournemouth."
