Underfire football administrator, Nana Oduro Sarfo has resigned from his position as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berekum Chelsea FC following his controversial interview earlier this week.

The experienced administrator in an interview with Accra-based Angel FM on Monday slammed Ghanaians for criticizing the poor state of the team’s pitch while saying that the interviewer was wasting his time at a period where he was watching a Nigerian movie.

Following immense pressure from the public who have spoken against the attitude of Nana Oduro Sarfo, he has today resigned from working with Berekum Chelsea as the club’s CEO.

“This is to inform the sporting public as well as the Ghana Football Association that I have resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of the above-mentioned club

“I will like to thank the president of the club, board of directors, management members, players, technical team as well as our wonderful supporters for their support while I was with the club,” a statement from Nana Oduro Sarfo reads.
