Published on: 25 January 2021

Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has arrived in the Italian City of Sardinia where he is set to complete a move to Serie A side Cagliari Calcio, footballghana.com can report.

It can be recalled that your most trusted Ghana online portal last week reported that Cagliari is leading the race to sign the former Juventus star on a free transfer.

Last summer, the utility player who excels when deployed in a left-wing-back role parted ways with Inter Milan on mutual grounds when his contract was terminated.

After sitting at home for months, Kwadwo Asamoah is on the brink of returning to action in the second round of the 2020/2021 football season.

Pictures provided by Italian football top journalist Gianluca Dimarzio has today revealed that the experienced midfielder has arrived in Sardinia to complete the switch to Cagliari.

The Black Stars asset will serve as a squad boost for Cagliari manager Eusebio Di Francesco once the deal is completed and he will team up with compatriot Alfred Duncan.
