BREAKING: King Faisal announce sacking of coach Slavisa Bozicic

Published on: 20 December 2020

King Faisal Football Club has announced that they have sacked head coach Slavisa Bozicic as well as all the members of the technical team.

The Ghana Premier League side appointed the Serbian gaffer last year to lead the team in the 2019/2020 season. In that campaign, the gaffer played 14 matches without recording a win.

After the league was truncated, King Faisal decided to stick with him for the 2020/2021 season. After six matches into the season, coach Slavisa Bozicic has managed to pick up one win with the team, suffered three defeats, and recorded one draw with the team.

Having carefully looked at the situation of the club, management has decided to part ways with the gaffer.

“The Management wishes to announce for the information of the General Public, especially fans of the club that Slavisa Bozicic has been relieved of his duties as Head Coach of the club with immediate effect along with all members of the Technical team,” a club statement from King Faisal has said this afternoon.

The statement on the Twitter page of the club continues, “King Faisal Football Club would like to thank Mr. Bozicic and the technical team for the services rendered to the club and wish them the best going forward.”

Meanwhile, the club has noted that they have started a process for the recruitment of a new head coach and technical team.
