English Football League One side Bristol Rovers are eyeing a summer move for Ghanaian striker Kwesi Appiah, according to a report.

Appiah has produced some quality displays despite the AFC Wimbledon's struggles this season.

He has scored four goals and provided one assist for The Dons as they lie 20th on the league table with 35 points after 35 matches played thus far.

A report by Talksports indicates that Pirates manager, Ben Gamer is eager to seal the signing of 29-year-old as he seeks to strengthen his team for next season.

Appiah's current contract is set to expire next season and AFC Wimbledon will look to sanction a move for the experienced striker should he refuse to sign a new deal.

He has previously played for clubs including Crystal Palace, Cambridge as well as Norwegian side Viking.
