Brong Ahafo RFA chairman Ralphael Gyambrah says All Star Festival will change the perception of hooliganism about the region

In a bold move to reshape the image of Brong Ahafo, the Regional Football Association (RFA) chairman, Ralphael Gyambrah, has announced the upcoming All-Star Festival with a mission to redefine the perception of hooliganism plaguing the region.

He announced this at a press event for the All-Star Festival, which takes place in Sunyani from June 20 to June 22.

The festival will consist of a series of events culminating in a football match. Some Black Stars players are scheduled to participate, including captain Andrew Ayew and Ajax midfield sensation Mohammed Kudus

Gyambrah referred to the region as the "spiritual home of football" since it has five clubs in the Ghana Premier League and a lot of clubs in Division One, and Division Two.

“We need to more to maintain all the five clubs in the region but beyond that we want to change the narrative. I feel bad and. I think the All Star Festival is going to set the tone for us to change that narrative about the region,” he said.

Former Black Stars coach Avram Grant who currently manages the Zambian national team popularly known as the Chipolopolo will be a guest coach at the All-Star Festival.
