Burnley boss Dyche tells Everton to \'move on\'

Published on: 17 November 2017

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has delivered Everton a snub by asking them to look for managerial targets elsewhere.

Dyche was widely expected to be Everton's main target to replace Ronald Koeman as manager but the 46-year-old has now rejected the advances of the Toffees by pledging his loyalty to current club Burnley.

"I shouldn't have to say that (I'm not going anywhere). I've said that 5000 times since I've been at the club and I'm still here," he said.

"There are times when I ask myself 'why am I still answering these questions?'. I'm having to answer something that isn't my situation. There's been no contact. It's a situation created by the media.

"I know you're going to ask me again and again and again, but there's no angle. Sometimes you just have to move on."
