Burnley have lost Robbie Brady for the rest of the season.
He has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury sustained against Leicester City.
Brady was stretchered out the of match after a nasty looking clash with Leicester defender Harry Maguire.
Now scans have revealad the true extent of the damage.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche announced: "Robbie will have surgery to repair a patellar tendon tear and will be out for a substantial recovery period.
"He will be given all the time and care he needs on his recovery and supported throughout from all of us at Burnley FC."
