Bye Big Sam? Everton owner Moshiri draws up short-list for Allardyce replacements

Published on: 28 February 2018

Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has had enough of Sam Allardyce's stint as Everton manager.

According to the Daily Star, Moshiri has constructed a list of potential managers to replace Allardyce at the end of the season.

Big Sam initially helped turn the club around after succeeding Ronald Koeman. But his Toffees side have won just twice in their last eleven matches and are still threatened by the prospect of relegation.

Two realistic options on Moshiri's list are Shahktar Donestk boss Paulo Fonseca and ex-Watford manager Marco Silva.

Moshiri also holds ambitious targets of Luis Enrique and Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone.
