Caen would get a nice sum from the sale of Alexander Djiku

Malherbe Inside announces a possible good news to the supporters of Caen, after the difficult season of Ligue 2. The website takes again the information from L'Equipe, which indicates that a sale of the former player of the SMC c would bring back a nice sum to the Norman club!

Indeed, when the central defender or defensive midfielder left for Strasbourg, a clause in the transfer provided that a percentage on a resale of Djiku would fall at Stade Malherbe.

The team estimates this percentage at 15%, which means that if the player's transfer estimated at around 6.5 million, Caen could receive nearly one million euros in compensation! A nice sum for a club whose finances are not necessarily in good shape.

The defender could take the direction of Stade Rennais, to replace another former Malherbe, Damien Da Silva.

Alexander Djiku played 30 games for Strasbourg in the Ligue this season. The 26-year-old is part of CK Akonnor's 30 man squad to play two international friendly games against Morocco and Ivory Coast this month.
