CAF appoint Togolese referee Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe to handle Ghana vs Senegal game

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe of Togo to officiate the Black Satellites return leg fixture against their Senegalese counterparts scheduled for July 22.

The Ghana national Under-20 male team lost 3-1 to the Under-20 male team of Senegal in Dakar two weeks ago in the first leg of the 20th Edition of the U- 20 Africa Cup of Nations, Zambia 2017, qualifiers.

The match set to be played at the newly built cape coast sports stadium, will see Togolese officials, including referee Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe, assistant referees Cherif Mollah Banna and Adam Moukaila Biyao, and reserve referee Kokou Ognankotan Ntale take charge of proceedings.

CAF also named Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, as match commissioner for the game that the Satellites will need to score two unanswered goals to secure qualification. The winner of the game will automatically qualify for Zambia 2017.
