CAF CC: Asante and colleagues fly out ahead of Platinum FC clash

AC Horoya coach Patrice Neveu has named five Ghanaian players in his team to face Platinum FC in the CAF Champions League Group B game on February 2.

The Guinean champions flew out of Conakry on board an Ethiopian Airlines’ AT 687 flight and they will spend this night in Addis Ababa before continuing to the Southern African country on Saturday morning.

The Ghanaian contingent who made the 22-man list for the trip includes are Godfred Asante and Hudu Yakubu, midfielders Sebe Baffour, Brefo Mensah as well as attacker Patrick Razak.

All of them together with Ghanaian-born Burkinabe forward Mandela are expected to start at the Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane next week Saturday.

Horoya are bottom of Group B and they need a win in Zimbabwe if they stand any chance of making it to the quarter finals.
