CAF CC: Kotoko chief not worried about Zambian weather

Asante Kotoko CEO George Amoako has stated that the weather condition in Zambia will not have any negative effects on his side in their clash against Nkana on Sunday.

Reports from Zambian indicate that it’s been raining heavily for some days now but Amoako believes his side will not bothered.

The CEO insists they are prepared for any situation they are confronted with in Zambia.

“It’s the rainy season in Zambia so we are preparing like the rains will fall on Sunday during the match time.

“All preparations are geared towards making sure the rains don’t distract our efforts.

“The weather will have no major effect on us, we didn’t come to Zambia to lose but to get a good score line either a win or a draw,” he told the media.

Kotoko completed their first training session in Kitwe on Friday and will hold their final training session at the match venue this afternoon.

All teams in Group C are pegged on three points each, making this weekend’s round of natches very crucial for all of them.
