CAF CC: Unfit Ghana striker John Antwi misses Pyramids FC semi-finals first leg against Raja

Ghana international John Antwi was left out of the Pyramids FC squad that faced Raja Casablanca in the CAF Confederations Cup over the weekend.

The Egyptian side hosted the Moroccan giants at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo on Sunday in a top clash in this season's second-tier inter-club competition.

In what was a first leg tie of the semi-finals, striker John Antwi was not in the squad of Pyramids FC and hence did not play any part.

The decision to leave out the Ghana goal monger was taken by head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena due to technical reasons.

It is understood that the striker as well as Abdullah Bakri, Mahdi Suleiman, and Tariq Taha had to be dropped due to fitness issues.

Below is the Pyramids FC squad that drew goalless against Raja Casablanca in the CAF Confederations Cup on Sunday:
