CAF Confederation Cup semifinalists Dreams FC held Bofoakwa Tano to a 1-1 draw in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Bofoakwa Tano hoped for the three maximum points, but the Still Believe lads proved to be a stronger opponent and had to settle for a draw on Sunday afternoon at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Dreams FC were handed an early scare after Solomon Obilitey found the back of the net to put Bofoakwa Tano in the lead in the crucial encounter. The home team went to the halftime break with the advantage.

The host were cruising to victory to merit maximum points but Dreams FC showed resilience and determination to level pegging few minutes to full time.

The Still Believe lads pulled parity in the 87th minute mark through Sulemana Suhiyini as they snatch an important away draw.

Dreams FC find themselves in a challenging position in the Ghanaian top-flight, although they have four outstanding games to be played.

At the moment, the Still Believe lads are 16th on the league standings with 32 points and must ensure they pick necessary points in the outstanding games to move out of the drop.

Bofoakwa Tano, on the other hand, are just a place above the relegation drop, with five games to end the season.

The Sunyani-based club are 15th on the log with 33 points after 29 matches into the campaign so far.
