South Africa international Percy Tau is available to face Medeama in the CAF Champions League penultimate game after rejoining his teammates.

Tau is expected to travel with his teammates to Ghana ahead of the crucial game scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Bafana Bafana poster boy trained with the rest of the team on Monday and Tuesday at Al Ahly complex in Gezira upon his return to the club.

Tau played a huge role to help the Bafana Bafana finish third at the just-ended continental showpiece held in Ivory Coast.

Also joining the South African are Wessam Abou Ali and Ahmed Nabil Kouka, who are both recovering from an injury.

The CAF Champions League was on a break due to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast but returns this weekend for the penultimate games at the group stage.

Medeama are bottom in Group D with 4 points and must play above themselves to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian giants sit top of Group D with six points after their goalless draw with Algerian side CD Belouizdad last week.
