CAF Champions League: Egyptian referee Nour El-Din to officiate Etoile du Sahel - Asante Kotoko second leg tie

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Egyptian referee Ibrahim Nour El-Din to take charge of the second leg of the Champions League clash between Etoile du Sahel and Asante Kotoko on September 27.

The experienced referee will be assisted by compatriots Tahssen Abo El Jadat Bedyer and Ahmed Hossameldin Taha as assistant one and two respectively.

Mohammed Adel Elsaid Hussein will be the fourth official whilst Sudanese Mamoun Bushara Nasir will serve as the match commissioner.

Kotoko will be heading into the game full of confidence following a 2-0 win in the first leg encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium over the weekend.

Etoile looked content with the score ahead of the return fixture at home.

In their last game at home, the Tunisians registered a 7-1 win over Hafia FC of Guinea following a 2-1 away loss in the first leg.

The Porcupine Warriors will be looking to progress to group stage of the comeptition for the first time in 13-years.
