Black Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has implored supporters of the team to limit their expectations ahead of the start of the 2019 edition of the CAF Champions League.

The Porcupine Warriors had an amazing season under CK Akonnor when they participated in the 2018/2019 CAF Confederations Cup.

This season too they have booked qualification into the CAF Champions League after winning the tier 1 of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition.

Sharing his thoughts on the preparations of Kotoko ahead of the campaign which starts next month, Felix Annan has stressed that the team wants the supporters of the club to limit their expectations.

Nonetheless, the Ghana Football awards goalkeeper of the year has assured that the team will put up their best throughout the competition.

“We know that when you are playing for Kotoko, the expectations are always high. We want to tell the fans to limit their expectations but we the playing body are going to do our best to try and lift the club high”, Anna said in an interview with Zylofon FM.

The Kumasi based club will start their campaign against Nigerian side Kano Pillars on August 10, 2019.
