Asante Kotoko players have received $1,000 each as winning bonus following their win Nigerian side Kano Pillars in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors knocked out Kano Pillars to advance to the next stage of the competition on a 4-3 aggregate scoreline
According to a report by Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM, each player will be given $1,000 for their impressive performance at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday.
Kotok will play toile Sportive du Sahel in the first round of the Champions League with the first leg scheduled for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in September.
Each player will receive $1,500 in the next round against Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
