The Ghana Premier League Champions locked horns with the Nigerian club today in the first leg of a doubleheader tie in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League qualifiers.

Thanks to a good start for the host, Medeama SC managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

The win was possible thanks to a goal from Jonathan Sowah in the 21st minute of the first half.

Although both sides played well in the second half, neither side could score as the game witnessed just one goal.
