CAF Champions League: Raja Casablanca departs Morocco for Ghana ahead of FC Samartex clash

Raja Club Athletic, widely known as Raja Casablanca will arrive in Ghana on Friday morning to continue with preparations for the clash against FC Samartex in the CAF Champions League.

The Moroccan club has been drawn to face the Ghana Premier League champions in the final preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, hoping to book a place in the group stages.

On Thursday night, the technical team and playing body of Raja Casablanca departed Morocco en route to Ghana to prepare for the first leg of the meeting with FC Samartex.

Upon arrival in Ghana’s capital Accra today, Raja Casablanca will lodge in their hotel and make arrangements for training at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The first-leg meeting between FC Samartex and Raja Casablanca will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 15.

Both teams will hope for a positive result before the reverse fixture in Morocco a week later.
