Medeama opponent Remo Stars are expected to arrive in Ghana on Saturday, August 19, 2023 ahead of the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg tie.

The Nigerian outfit will travel with a chattered flight to Accra before they leave for Cape Coast for the much-anticipated encounter against the Yellow and Mauves on Sunday.

The Ghana Premier League champions will host Remo Stars at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday before the reverse fixture in Nigeria.

According to team manager Ajaji Samuel Yinka, the preparations have been smooth sailing, and he expressed their readiness for the Ghana game.

"We are ready for the Ghana game. Preparations have gone well and we will arrive in Ghana on Saturday." He told Ghanasportspage.

"We are coming with a chartered flight and we will be arriving in Ghana very early on Saturday morning. We will depart from Nigeria at 5:00 am. I believe the journey from Nigeria to Ghana takes no more than 45 minutes."

Remo Stars are optimistic about clinching a positive result in the first leg clash but the Yellow and Mauves will enter the game with the intention of securing a convincing victory in order to make the second tie easy for them.
