CAF Champions League: Strong Kotoko team fly out of Ghana for Al Hilal clash

The interim coach for Asante Kotoko, Johnson Smith has traveled with a strong 22-man squad to Sudan ahead of the team’s crucial game against Al Hilal Omdurman.

The Kumasi-based club is facing a tough tie against the Sudanese giants as they seek qualification to the next round of the CAF elite inter-club competition.

Ahead of the game, Asante Kotoko has today enplaned to Sudan to ensure they have enough preparation by acclimatizing before the matchday on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

A continent that has 22 players flew out of Ghana on Sunday afternoon and expected to land in Ethiopia before transiting to Sudan later this evening.
