The Yellow and Mauve will host the Tanzanian side in the third Group D game of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Medeama is aiming for a second win after picking up a 2-1 win over Algeria’s CR Belouizdad and losing 0-3 to Egypt’s Al-Ahly in previous games.

Speaking in a pre-game presser, Adotey identified the avoidance of conceding goals as a key point in Medeama’s game plan to win.

“We’ve been conceding off late. So far we’ve worked on creating depth in defence and making sure we don’t concede. We still have to think forward; we want to win the game,” Adotey said.

Medeama is tied on three points with Belouizdad in Group D but ranks third due to having an inferior goal difference.

The game has been scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT.
